I'm not surprised that Niall Ferguson wrote this. I am stunned that Newsweek would put that headline on its cover.
Now, don't be fooled. This is not the beginning of a new, conservative era at Newsweek. It may, however, be the start of rats leaving a sinking ship. Remember, I've been predicting a Romney landslide for months now.
