I don't understand why everyone just accepts the government's unemployment numbers, or any of the government's numbers, as fact. It was revealed at the end of the Clinton administration that the government was lying about the economic numbers. Does anyone think the Obama administration wouldn't do that? Why do we just assume the numbers it reports are accurate?
